Hi, I’m Janelle and I’m the founder of The Pharmacist Mentors. I truly believe in the positive impact that mentoring can have on your pharmacy career and overall job satisfaction. Many of us have untapped potential, and through mentoring you can begin to discover what is truly possible, and develop a plan to get where you truly want to be! I am passionate about helping pharmacists develop their skills and knowledge to progress into careers paths they love.
I have experience in hospital, community and HMR pharmacy and most recently as a Pharmacy owner within the medicinal cannabis space.
As a hospital pharmacist I have worked in leadership roles, policy development, clinical resource work, and clinical governance. My book "The Community Pharmacist's Complete Guide to Entering Hospital Pharmacy" has been instrumental in helping pharmacists transition successfully into hospital pharmacy.
I hold post-graduate qualifications in health professional education, training and assessing, and human nutrition. I am also an advocate for rural and remote pharmacy, having spent 3 amazing years working in the remote Torres Strait Islands as an Outreach pharmacist.
