In terms of my experience - I would describe myself as a 'hospital generalist'. I've worked in aged care, antimicrobial stewardship, cardiac, hospital in the home, general medicine, medication safety, oncology, paediatrics and special care nursery, rehabilitation, renal, respiratory, sexual health and surgical.
I love to network and help others achieve their personal and career goals which led me into a managerial-focused role. My other skill set includes recruitment (CV and cover letters), quality improvement, role description/development and conflict management.
I transitioned from community to hospital pharmacy early in my career and understand first hand the challenges, emotions and doubts that can arise when making these transitions. I hope to support others on their journey through The Pharmacist Mentors as a Mentor and Moderator for the hospital pharmacy space.
I'm a mum to 1 and in my spare time I love to hike, bike, and travel and teach Pilates!
